One Doctor for Implant Surgery and Restoration

Due to my dual specialty training in prosthodontics (cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry), and implant surgery, I am uniquely qualified to place and restore implants. The advantage to our patients is that all the work is done in one office.
The other huge advantage is that because I am the one placing the new teeth on the implants, I work very carefully to ensure that the proper size implant and its location is perfect.

Many times in planning for dental implants a Cat Scan is required. A medical grade Cat Scan is usually completed at a radiology center. A newer form of Cat Scan uses cone beam technology to produce a very accurate image with greatly reduced radiation. Overall, I feel that this cone beam Cat Scan should now be the standard of care to produce an exceptional image at a greatly reduced radiation exposure to our patients.

This past year we have added some techniques and procedures to increase reduce anxiety, and increase patient comfort in the dental office. One area where we are seeing a growth in usage is in sedation dentistry.
We use oral sedation with Halcion which makes you very sleepy in the chair, and the best part is there is some amnesia associated with the medication so that you forget that there ever was a dental procedure being performed.
